Before you start

  • If you are a researcher with extensive experience in researching parliamentary discourse, you might consider jumping directly to Section The ParlaMint project and Section The ParlaMint corpora that are dedicated to the representation of this particular resource.
  • If you are already well familiar with the specifics of parliamentary discourse as well as the ParlaMint corpora, but you would like to learn corpus linguistic methods through showcases, you can immediately jump to Part II.
  • To follow the digital textbook, you will need to create a free account at https://www.clarin.si/skelog/#unauthorized. See Section Getting ready for further instructions.
  • The digital textbook is based on ParlaMint version 5.0.
